LOCAL COMPANION

Your browser context, your local agent.

Use StackContext with Codex CLI or Claude Code through the native macOS connection. Your browser sends a focused handoff to the agent you already authenticate locally.

A SIMPLE LOCAL PATH

Use the agent you already trust.

The recommended macOS app registers a native browser connection. The legacy companion remains available when a local HTTP bridge suits your setup.

01

Install StackContext

Load the browser extension and choose Codex CLI or Claude Code in Settings.

02

Connect your browser

Use the macOS app to connect your extension ID, then reload the extension.

03

Send focused context

Structure a page, review a flow, or send a bug report to your authenticated agent.

No extension-held credentials.

Your agent stays yours. The companion calls your existing locally authenticated coding agent. StackContext does not receive or store your Codex credentials.

Connect the browser
to your workflow.

Download the companion package or follow the step-by-step local setup guide.
